The following is a list of the key points from the workshop that stakeholders consider will assist the processing of building warrant applications: 1. the development of a national checklist 2. the inclusion of multiple dwellings on a single building warrant application 3. good quality application (standard details, digital photos of elevations, BBA certificate, dewpoint calculations, etc.) 4. applications should be prioritised by local authorities, 5. the time for granting of the warrant will be dependent on the quality of the submission and on the need for wider consultation on any site-specific proposal.
